What is Zero Emission Project?

If you want to know more, please get in touch.

Zero Emission Project is an [ environmental project ] run by myself, Lorenzo Polidori, an electronics engineering consultant, turned sustainable energy campaigner.

I am passionate about sustainability and I believe that a more sustainable lifestyle is possible by acting in two directions: generating electricity from renewable resources and making residential buildings consume as little energy as possible.

Zero Emission Project is currently carrying out a campaign called [ 5ksolar ]. This campaign promotes the mass introduction of a technology that can make a real difference:
[ distributed solar energy ].

The goal of this campaign is to build a [ network ] of [ 5,000 ] domestic and community solar installations in the UK which will make up a 12.5 MW distributed electricity generation system, pumping into the grid 11 Million kWh in a year.

High installation costs and the fact that many people live in rented properties are big barriers for this to happen.

The 5ksolar campaign is about removing these barriers: the breakthrough is to find viable and affordable ways to let each individual take part in the big solar power revolution.

If you want to be part of the 5ksolar network, take a look at this page.

Massively reducing our dependency on fossil fuels and big centralized power stations is indeed possible, but we need to spread the word and the online community is a perfect place to do it.

Don't wait any longer and join ZeroEmissionProject.com and the 5ksolar campaign.
